Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. If an emergency should arise during our working hours, please make every effort to phone ahead. This will allow us to make arrangements to assure that our veterinary staff is ready for you. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Patient Arrival Policy 

We ask that you bring your pet in to the clinic appropriately restrained. This is for the protection of both your pet and the pets of other clients, as the variety of species we see do not always get along!

• Cats, dogs, and Small Mammals should be on leashes or in carriers, as appropriate.
  
• Birds should be in travel cages or other containers. Even well behaved birds may become spooked in unfamiliar settings, and we don't want to see your pet lost or injured!
  
• Lizards, Snakes and Tortoises should be brought to the clinic in boxes or bags, as appropriate for the size and temperment of the animal. Large lizards may wear a harness and leash.
  
• Turtles and Amphibians should be in containers that are damp if appropriate for the species. Never transport species which are not fully-aquatic in water. (For example: Red Eared Slider turtles should NOT be transported in water.)
